Construction has begun on the third and top floor of The Meadowlark. The third floor includes sleeping rooms in the domestic violence shelter wing.
Each sleeping room in the domestic violence shelter wing and family housing center wing will have its own bathroom. This will help provide privacy and security for families and individuals. Here you can see the framing for the walls of the sleeping rooms.
The domestic violence shelter will have 13 private sleeping rooms, and the family housing center will have 31 private sleeping rooms. There will also be overflow space to accommodate additional people if this capacity is exceeded.
