Empower congregations and community organizations to work together, leveraging strengths to address community challenges.

Family Promise of Missoula is a network of 28 congregations and businesses that practice hospitality and work together to provide shelter, meals and support to Missoula families to help them rebuild their lives.

Housing Advocate Network is a network of everyday people who spend a few hours of their week walking alongside and supporting individuals and families with finding housing, employment, and accessing necessary services.

MIC helps facilitate positive, life-changing job opportunities for anyone who is looking for employment through its MissoulaWorks, an innovative staffing agency serving those who have experienced barriers to employment. MissoulaWorks places and supports individuals at all levels of experience, skill and background. It also operates the Get It Done Crew, which places employees on short-term projects to increase skills for successful future employment.

MIC partners with congregations and organizations to help identify their areas of focus and mission. This process entails developing leaders who can align the passions and resources of their institution (congregation or organization) with needs and challenges in the community.  Leaders are trained in the skills and practices of community organizing, using the nationally recognized framework of the Industrial Areas Foundation.
